While there is not much news to report tonight, we are pleased that Liesl has repeated the response to the nurse's tests of her reactions. The movements in her right arm are not big ones, but they are headed in the right direction.
Note the Gospel reading this morning was Matthew 15: 21-28, the last fews lines of which are:
Then Jesus said to her in reply: "Woman, great is your faith! Let it be done for you as you wish." And the woman's daughter was healed from that hour.
We all remain steadfast in belief that Liesl will be healed.

Your name was lifted up in prayer today at Arlington Methodist - Hang in there!!!
Love and ITB,
Evangeline
My name is Matt. I've known Liesl since we worked together in '03. We've talked on the phone or text'd at least weekly over 90% of that time. I love her and I can't count the times, since her mom phoned me with the news, that I've started to pickup my phone and send her a message. Then I stop and want to cry cause I can't. I pray that one day soon I can listen to another one of her pitty laughs when I tell a bad joke.
In the event that she is allowed visitation, I'm loading up my altima and heading south. I've got room for three others if anyone wants to tag along. post a request or email me and a seat is yours. It doesn't matter if we've never met; my car is your car.
With the deepest love and prayers,
Matt
Received your email with the link to your blogs, just today. I am keeping all of you continually in my prayers. I read through all of your blogs, and see that you have been blessed with miracles already. I believe they will continue. God Love's and is blessing Liesl, and each of you.

May that word of God be your reality! Thanks for the great job you are doing with the blog to keep us updated.
I am absoutely DEVASTATED to hear this news. I went to Holy Rosary with Liesl and we became very good friends in grade school. We remain friends to this day and we are always so excited to see each other when we can!
Liesl, I'm thinking of you girl! Please get better!! I love you!
To the Beckers- hang in there. I'm thinking and praying for you every day. Give Liesl a hand squeeze for me!
All my best,
Elizabeth Gaia
Bob, Stefani, and I were so fortunate to have met some of Liesl's wonderful friends on the SLU campus in St. Louis this morning at the prayer service they had arranged for. In representing Leigh, Lynne Marie and family, we wanted to let them know how grateful we all are for their continual prayers and wishes. Praying as a community was very powerful and God was certainly in our prescence.
Listed are those who participated and their thoughts:
Led by Angela Batie (Campus Minister), "Our prayers are with Liesl and you."
Bobby Wassel (friend and staff member in Student Life), "We love you Liesl!"
Kirstin Leih (Coord. of Fraternity and Sorority Life)
Donna Bess (Director of Student Life)
Jenny Awe, (Delta Gamma Sister)
Paige Friedman, (Delta Gamma Sister)
Nikki Sipe (SLU 101 leader with Liesl), "Love you!"
Mary Hoehl, "Liesl was my SLU 101 leader & we stayed in close contact. She took me under her wing and acted as my Big sister during my freshman year - she even cooked me dinner!"
Rebekah Titsworth (member of the SLU community), "Praying for her full recovery."
Emily Bland (DG Sister & SLU junior), "I love you Liesl & ITB always!"
Marissa Moniz (SLU student), "My thoughts & prayers are with the whole family! Stay strong!!!"
Carrie Bross, "Here to support Nikki, Mary, and the SLU community."
Alex Chapman & Alyssa Kernen both were hoping to come but had things come up. They send their prayers & love.
Emily also told us that Brigette Schutzman, another SLU student, sent her prayers (she was in a similar accident this January and has made a full recovery - Praise the Lord!)
Lori Canoy also sent her prayers and love.
In reading the notes, I apologize to any one if I mispelled their name. Again from the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU ALL very much!
With our love, Melita & Family
